MEETING LOCATION
- The course will be meeting at McDowell Mountain Regional Park
- We will be meeting at the parking lot with the Competitive Track.
- McDowell has a $7/ day vehicle fee (this may increase to $10 at some point in 2026).

**Please note: There is a gravel race basing out of McDowell on Saturday. The entrance to the park may be a little congested in the morning, so plan a little extra travel time that day.

- Go to the “Event History” tab in your member profile and select your course.
- Complete the pre-course worksheet available there. Don’t forget to save your answers frequently, as the system will log you out after a period of inactivity!
Important Note – How to Prepare for Your Course
- Make sure you are familiar with the booklet (read and study – 4 to 5 hours)
- There will be a mandatory worksheet to complete before the course (approx. 2 hours of work)
- The reference manual supports the booklet (180 pages – focus on the most relevant Level 1 content)
Our best advice is to take some time and properly prepare for your upcoming course… investing some time now will ultimately help you get more from your experience with PMBIA!
WHAT TO BRING
- BIKE in good, working order
- HELMET
- Plenty of water and snacks – with the temps this weekend, please bring extra water and electrolytes to stay hydrated.
- working phone
- pen and paper
- small backpack or hip-pack to carry these things
- spare tubes and patches/tubeless puncture kit
- tire levers and pump
- multi tool and chain tool
- first aid kit
- sun shirt/rain jacket/spare clothes based on weather
- Bring a LUNCH, or bring money and plan to find a quick, nearby eatery.
