We’ve made new Ninjas at the base of beautiful sandstone buttes in Arizona’s Papago Park, the stream side trails in Malibu, the oak and sycamore lined trails in Laguna Niguel, and the urban oasis zig-zag trails in San Diego’s Balboa Park.
And now, we’re taking our Ninja making machine up, up, up and away to the high altitude alpine village of Big Bear.
But even more exciting than that, is the fact that we’re not just offering our usual one-day clinics—we’ve partnered with Bear Valley Bikes to put together an incredible action-packed full weekend camp!
Our camp is designed for the enthusiast rider or avid racer that is looking to build up and clean up their ‘toolbox’ of mountain bike skills in order to handle a variety of terrain at speed.
The camp is ideal for riders who have taken our Fundamentals or Int/Advanced Clinics and are ready to progress to the next level. You don’t have to be a racer to get great benefit from this camp. We will blend our traditional Intermediate – Advanced skills training with an in-depth tour of many of the fun and challenging trails in Big Bear. We’ll split into groups of more experienced and less experienced riders so everyone can get the most out of the camp.
Note: We will be riding the trails around the Snow Summit area, but will not be riding the bike park itself. Trails we’ll ride include some previous year Enduro runs, technical and high-speed XC course segments and a couple less-known, truly challenging and fun trails.
Off the bike, you can enjoy the quaint, yet stunningly beautiful Big Bear Lake Village that boasts a wonderful shopping and dining district. After you do a little wine tasting or buy a souvenir, you can take a leisurely stroll down the street to take in the scenery at the lake’s waterfront or hop over to Bear Valley Bikes to pick up whatever bike related item you need.
The weekend will be an awesome opportunity for what we like to call a “traincation”—a fun-filled vacation in which you get to spend most of your time doing what you like to do most—ride your mtb.
